Homeschool at The Cibolo

Join local homeschool families diversifying their education environment.

Each spring and fall semester, our homeschool program dives into a variety of educational outdoor activities designed to foster a love for nature and collaboration. These 10 week sessions are open to 30 homeschoolers ages 5–12. Classes alternate between the Cibolo Nature Center and Herff Farm, giving students hands-on experiences in two incredible learning environments.

A parent or guardian must attend all homeschool classes with their student. While our teacher facilitates the activities, parents are responsible for ensuring their student’s safety, participation, and adherence to The Cibolo’s policies and procedures. Younger siblings aged 3–4 are welcome to join for a fee (ages 2 and under are free), but parents are fully responsible for their supervision. This option is only available for families with an older sibling (ages 5–12) enrolled in the program.

Please note: this program often sells out on registration day. Subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on social media for updates from The Cibolo, including future homeschool registration dates.

“Lessons often begin with curiosity—something spotted along the trail or discovered during exploration—and then grow into something deeper.”
