Night Hikes at The Cibolo

Join us at The Cibolo Nature Center to hike the trails at sunset!

We have two hikes to choose from that are designed for different types of hikers – Families or Adults.

Night Hikes for Families accommodate short legs and short attention spans while still learning about and enjoying The Cibolo. The cost for this hike is $30 per family. Parents, grandparents, the kids – bring them all and come enjoy this wonderful experience together.

Night Hikes for Adults are longer hikes, using unfamiliar trails. You can expect to spend time without flashlights in hopes of viewing nocturnal wildlife. The cost is $15 per adult. For the purpose of this hike an “adult” is a mature teenager on up.

  • The Cibolo Nature Center is located at 140 City Park Road in Boerne, Texas. Once you drive through the entrance, the road will lead you to a parking lot. We’ll meet on the front porch of the Cibolo Nature Center.

“The sun has just slipped below the tree line as we begin our hike at the Cibolo Nature Center in Boerne. The tops of the oak trees behind us are tinged with orange, and crickets chirp in the grass. Standing at the trailhead, I feel a ripple of anticipation for our adventure, a behind-the-scenes tour of the Cibolo’s nocturnal world.”
